Australia's Prime Minister Scott Morrison has denied that his government climate change policies had anything to do with the seemingly relentless bushfires that are raging across Australia.

He said that his government is doing enough to help curb climate change.

The bushfires which have been ongoing for weeks have left six people dead.

As of Thursday, the fires have made their way to the state of Victoria.

Tasmania declared a total fire ban.
