Heavy Rains in Parts of Australia

More flooding rain is expected in parts of Australia as the country grips with heavy rain that has recently plagued the area.

The Northern Territory is coming up on the traditional "wet season". Before this week is out, some areas could see 300 mm of rain.

There will also be strong winds.

The Australian Bureau of Meteorology says that summer rainfall was below average for the country as a whole. This fall, wetter conditions are expected.
