The RCMP have confirmed that a small plane has crashed near Makkovik in Labrador.
It is believed that the aircraft was a personal plane and was only carrying two people.
A search is ongoing to find the individuals who were on the plane.
There are no other details at this time.
Makkovik had a population of 361 in 2011.
