On Tuesday snow will move into New Brunswick. Before dawn on Wednesday, the snow will change to snow across southeastern areas. Conditions will slowly clear Wednesday night and Thursday.
Snow is expected to begin overnight Tuesday. On Wednesday morning there is a possibility that eastern and central sections of the province could see a transition to rain. Conditions will clear by Wednesday afternoon, but the snow will start up once again overnight on Wednesday for all areas.
The snow will continue through Thursday before finally clearing on Friday night.
On Tuesday afternoon snow will push into southern Nova Scotia. As snow pushes north across the province, it will very quickly change to rain for most areas except Cape Breton Island where snow is expected.
There will be some breaks in the precipitation such as Wednesday night and Thursday morning but precipitation is expected again on Thursday afternoon and evening before finally ending on Thursday night.
Snow is expected across most of Newfoundland, excluding the Great Northern Peninsula, from Wednesday night to Thursday morning. Across the Burin Peninsula and southern Avalon Peninsula, snow will likely change to rain. For the southeastern Avalon, some freezing rain is possible.
By Thursday night conditions clear, however, snow will then move into the Great Northern Peninsula and coastal Labrador.
Snow squalls are expected along the west coast on Saturday.
