Rain, Wind, and Yes Even Snow Expected in Newfoundland

The calendar doesn't matter when it comes to the weather we are expecting Wednesday and Wednesday night.

Rain will spread across most of Newfoundland today and most areas can expect to see 5 to 10 mm.

Rain may mix with snow at times across western and northern New Brunswick. In central and western Newfoundland (specifically the Long Range Mountains) rain will mix with, or change to snow. Some areas could see 5 to 10 cm of snow, mainly the Green Bay-White Bay area.

Winds will be quite gusty as well. Along the west coast gusts to 80 km/h are expected, in the Wreckhouse area, gusts to 110 km/h are expected. On the Avalon, gusts to 70 km/h are expected.
