Strong Earthquake Strikes The Philippines

A 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck the Philippines on Sunday morning.

The earthquake was located 5.1 km southwest of Sinawilan, the Philippines at a depth of 28 km.

As a result of the earthquake, one person has died.

There was some damage, in Davao del Sur province a three-story building collapsed.

There were several aftershocks, the strongest of which was measured at a 5.0 magnitude.

Since the earthquake struck inland there was no tsunami threat.
