What are Stormquakes?

A new phenomenon has been discovered that happens during large storms. They are called stormquakes.

In the journal of Geophysical Research Letters, scientists said that large storms can cause the seafloor to shake similar to a magnitude three earthquake.

These stormquakes have been recorded off the coast of Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and British Columbia, along with Florida and the Northeastern States.

But there is no need to fear, these are in no way dangerous.

To detect them, a military sensor is required.
