Winter Storm Eyes Southern Alberta 

Some parts of southern Alberta are in for a winter wallop.
 

 
As a precursor to what is expected, there will be about 2 to 5 centimetres of snow across southern Alberta today.
 

 
A system is expected to develop this evening that will bring snow and blowing snow that will linger through Saturday.
 

 
Some areas could see 20 centimetres of snow.
