34 Workers Trapped in Saskatchewan Mine Are Safe

The 34 workers that were trapped in a potash mine in Saskatchewan since Tuesday are now safely above ground.


The Cory potash mine is 10 kilometers southwest of Saskatoon.


All 34 employees became trapped on Tuesday when a service shaft stopped working.


While trapped underground, the employees had access to food, water, and wifi.


No injuries were reported.
