6.7 Earthquake Southeast of Fiji


A 6.7 magnitude earthquake struck 344.2 km southeast of Levuka, Fiji.


It was recorded on September 2 at 3:54 am local time.


It was at a depth of 615 km.


Fiji is in a very active seismic zone.


There were no reports of damage or injuries.


There was no chance of a tsunami according to the Tsunami Warning Center.
