7 People Die on Mount Everest This Week

There have been three more deaths on Mount Everest. That brings the number to seven this week alone.

Nepal has issued a record 381 permits costing $11,000 each for this year's spring climbing season.

Poor weather has cut down the number of good days to scale the mountain.

When the weather improved, people holding permits flocked to the site.

Many of those who have died was because they were exhausted which stuck in traffic of people on the mountain.

Mount Everest is Earth's highest mountain above sea level, located in the Mahalangur Himal sub-range of the Himalayas. It has an elevation of 8,848 metres.
