Alberta hit with more snow #ABwx

On Monday there was some snow across Alberta thanks to an Arctic airmass over the northern half of the province that collided with an approaching airmass from the Pacific.


As a result, there was heavy snow over the Alberta foothills.


Below is a summary of snowfall totals as of 4:00 pm on Tuesday.


Snowfall amounts:

  • Hendrickson Creek: 30 cm

  • Drayton Valley: 22 cm

  • Nordegg: 20 cm

  • Edson: 17 cm

  • Rocky Mountain House: 16 cm

  • Exshaw: 11 cm

  • Horburg: 15 cm
