Writer: Kyle Sooley-BrookingsKyle Sooley-Brookings

We are watching a large area of low pressure that may affect Ontario on Thursday night and will continue through Friday.

There is the potential for significant amounts of snow and rain, along with the potential for some freezing rain.

Northern Ontario will most likely see snow. Significant amounts are possible. In the heaviest snow, 15 to 20 cm are possible.

There is also a risk of freezing rain in northeastern Ontario along with rain.

Over southern Ontario rain is likely. In the heaviest rain, 10 to 15 millimetres are possible.
