Burst of Snow for Southern Ontario

Southern Ontario will get a quick burst of snow today from a low pressure system that will pass just south of the Great Lakes.

Snow is expected for areas north of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario.

The snow is underway now and will taper off from west to east this afternoon.

Generally speaking, snowfall amounts won't be very high. Only about 5 to 10 cm are expected.

At the same time, temperatures will be near or just above the freezing mark, meaning some snow could fall as rain.
