Canada Day Forecast


Across most of the country today expect unsettled conditions. Rain or drizzle is possible across parts of Newfoundland and Labrador and Nova Scotia with some areas of fog in the morning. There is a risk of thunderstorms through Quebec and southern Ontario. Across northern Ontario rain is likely.


Wildfire smoke will persist across Labrador, Quebec, and Ontario.


High temperatures will range from 19 to 28 across the eastern half of the country.

 

In western Canada, it is a similar story with thunderstorms expected across the Prairie provinces. In British Columbia, rain is expected in most areas.


Across the Prairies and northeastern British Columbia, smoke will continue.


Temperatures will range from 17 to 31.

 

Northern Canada will see rain for most areas with an odd thunderstorm possible in parts of the Northwest Territories.


Across the Northwest Territories and southern Nunavut, smoke is expected.
