Cold Weather Kills 50 People in India and Bangladesh


A bout of cold weather has swept through India and Bangladesh killing 50 people.


The temperatures have dipped to near freezing causing hospitals to be overwhelmed with cases of influenza, dehydration and pneumonia.


Dense fog and strong winds are only adding to the severity of the situation.


The cold snap is expected to last a few more days.


Officials are attempting to get homeless people to shelters.
