Crippling Blizzard Strikes Spain

Portions of Spain was hit by a crippling blizzard on Saturday that is responsible for four deaths.


In the capital of Madrid, over 50 cm of snow fell.


Over 1,500 people were trapped in their cars. People were stranded at train stations and airports. All services were suspended.


The military was called in to assist in rescuing stranded individuals.


After the storm pushed through, temperatures fell sharply.
