Earthquake off the Coast of Alaska & BC

There was a 6.0 magnitude earthquake 127.3 km west-southwest of Adak, Alaska.


It occurred on Sunday at 7:01 pm local time at a depth of 27 km.


The U.S. Tsunami Warning Center said that a tsunami was not expected.


There were several smaller earthquakes off the coast of British Columbia after that.


A 3.3 magnitude earthquake struck 204 km west of Port Hardy.


In neither event was there any injuries or damage.
