Earthquake strikes off Central America
This morning there was a 6.3 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Central America.
The earthquake was centred 628.5 km north-northeast of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno in Ecuador and was at a depth of 10 km.
Local officials have not received any word of any impacts.
The U.S. Tsunami Warning Centers said there was no threat of a tsunami.
Earthquakes are frequent in the area, it is located within the Pacific Ring of Fire.
