Emergency Preparedness Week Starts Sunday

Emergency Preparedness Week begins in Canada tomorrow. From May 5 to 11 Canadians are encouraged to take action to ensure you are prepared to protect yourself, your family and your community during an emergency.

The theme this year is "Be Prepared. Know Your Risks".

Emergency Preparedness Week has been an annual event for over 25 years, it traditionally takes place during the first full week of May.
