Five People Die in Israel from Flooding

Severe weather is impacting countries surrounding the Mediterranean Sea.

Five people have died in Israel from flooding.

Israel, Jordan and Palestine experienced heavy rain that started on Wednesday, continued on Thursday, and then Friday.

Several roads were closed and multiple people had to rescued from their vehicles.

Some areas in northern Israel has received almost 400 mm of rain so far this month.

It wasn't only the rain but also temperatures have been dropping to around 3°C overnight.

Another 5 to 15 mm of rain is expected Saturday through Monday.
