Freezing rain expected for parts of the Maritimes on Friday

An area of low pressure is expected to impact parts of Nova Scotia and eastern New Brunswick on Friday.

The low could deliver a significant amount of freezing rain to the area.

While there is some uncertainty in the exact timing of the freezing rain, there is the potential to see several hours of freezing rain, possibly resulting in 2 to 5 mm.

Driving will be challenging and power outages are possible.
