Hot Weather Continues Across the Prairies

Hot weather is continuing across the Prairies.

In Alberta, the heat will abate somewhat today in northern sections, but southern Alberta will see temperatures soar into the upper twenties or mid-thirties.

Across Saskatchewan, it will be a similar story with highs in the low to mid-thirties. Northern sections will see some relief tomorrow. Southern sections will see the hot temperatures continue.

South and central Manitoba will see highs reach the low thirties today and tomorrow.

Several areas in Alberta and Saskatchewan set new daily high temperatures on Monday.

Watch for the effects of heat illness: swelling, rash, cramps, fainting, heat exhaustion, heatstroke and the worsening of some health conditions. Never leave people or pets inside a parked vehicle.
