Hurricane Hunter Plane Diverted for Search and Rescue Mission

A NOAA Hurricane Hunter aircraft that was heading to investigate Hurricane Lorenzo was diverted to conduct a rescue mission on Friday.

A tug supply vessel the Bourbon Rhode got dangerously close to the storm and was in distress.

The tug was carrying a crew of 14.

Water was making its way into the stern of the boat.
