June Astronomy Highlights


On June 4th at dusk, Venus will be visible near the Sun with Mars to the upper left.


There will be a conjunction between Jupiter and the Moon in the predawn hours of the 15th.


Another conjunction occurs on June 21st between Mars, Venus, and the Moon.


Also on June 21 is the Summer Solstice at 10:58 am ET. The summer solstice occurs when the north pole has its maximum tilt toward the Sun.

  • First Quarter Moon June 26
