Today lake-effect snow is expected to develop along the northern shore of Lake Superior.

By this evening snow will spread to the northeastern shore. Total snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 cm are expected by Thursday morning. Locally amounts could be higher.

Winds will also be gusty and as a result, visibility will be reduced.

More snow is expected on Thursday as a clipper tracks across the northeastern tier of the province.

Across extreme eastern Ontario 5 to 10 cm of snow is possible.
