Large Weather System Set to Impact Ontario

Ontario is about to get hammered with a low pressure system that will begin on Thursday and continue on Friday.

Locations northeast of Lake Superior could pick up 30 centimetres of snow. Lesser amounts of snow are expected elsewhere across northern Ontario.

Across northeastern Ontario, both snow and rain are expected. There is a risk of freezing rain during the transition.

Over southern Ontario, precipitation will most likely remain as rain. Up to 30 mm of rain is possible.
