Lightning Strike Kills 4 Gorillas in Uganda


A presumed lightning strike is believed to be responsible for the death of four gorillas at a national park in Uganda.


There was a severe thunderstorm moving through the area at the time.


The group of gorillas has taken shelter from the weather.


Four gorillas were killed in the park. The gorillas are considered an endangered species.


One of the female gorillas was pregnant and had a newborn infant.


The storm moved through on February 3rd.
