Lunar eclipse to take place Sunday night
A lunar eclipse will take place on Sunday night offering a treat to Canadians if the skies are clear.
From a weather perspective, the eclipse should be viewable to most people across the country. The notable exception will be, Quebec, Ontario, and coastal British Columbia.

What is a lunar eclipse?
A lunar eclipse is a celestial event that occurs when the Moon moves into the Earth's shadow. It can only happen during a full moon when the moon is near either lunar node.
