Mass Casualty protocol at Fort Smith hospital after plane crash

The Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority is advising residents that the Fort Smith Health Centre activated its Mass Casualty protocol at approximately 8:50am today.

There was a plane crash near the community.

The protocol will continue until official direction is received that the incident response has concluded.

There is no word on injuries.
