Messy Mix of Weather Expected Across Newfoundland #nlwx

A low pressure system that is centred south of Newfoundland is going to make for a very unsettled day.

On the Avalon heavy rain is expected. Amounts of 40 to 80 mm are possible.

In central Newfoundland, it will be snow that will cause problems. Snowfall amounts of 15 to 20 cm are expected. Coastal areas will see either a rain-snow mix of rain altogether.

Strong winds are expected on the Avalon and Bonavista Peninsula.

Along the west coast, some flurries are expected.

Most areas clear out tomorrow morning.
