Moderate Earthquake Shakes Mariana Islands

On Friday there was a moderate earthquake 536.6 km north-northwest of Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands.

It measured a 6.4 magnitude and struck at a depth of 410 km.

There were no injuries or damage.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said there was no tsunami threat.

The area is frequented by earthquakes.
