NL School District Allowing Students to Attend Climate Change Strike

The Newfoundland and Labrador English School District will allow students to leave class for a climate change strike that is happening Friday.

If students bring a signed permission slip from their parents/guardians, they will be allowed to leave class.

School will remain open regardless.

Throughout the month of September, millions of people will walk out of schools and workplaces to join young climate strikers on the streets and demand an end to the age of fossil fuels.
