One Person Dead After Philippines Earthquake

One person has died and dozens are injured following a 6.4 magnitude earthquake in the in Southern Philippines.

Residents ran from homes and businesses as the earthquake damaged several structures.

Authorities are warning people to stay out of buildings that may have damaged.

The Philippines is located along the Pacific Ring of Fire, an area known for earthquakes.

The earthquake was only at a depth of 14.1 kilometers and was centered near Mindanao, Philippines.
