Poás Volcano has erupted in Costa Rica

The Poás Volcano has erupted in Costa Rica on September 30.

The volcano sent ash, with a 2 kilometer column, high into the air.

Officials were forced to close a popular park near San Jose.

There are fears it may erupt again.

Back on February 11, 2019 there was an eruption that began at 1:50 a.m. Monday and sent a column of ash 200 meters above the crater.
