Prairie Low Could Spell Trouble for Ontario and Quebec

The low-pressure system that is bringing winter weather to the Prairies will move into northern Ontario Monday evening and southern Quebec on Tuesday.
Across far northern Ontario snow is expected, while rain is expected for other areas.
In the Sandy Lake and Pickle Lake region, snowfall amounts of 20 to 35 cm are possible.
Areas south of that near Lake Superior could see 20 to 40 mm of rain.
In southern Quebec, precipitation will likely remain as rain with 10 to 20 mm expected.
The low will make it to Atlantic Canada on Wednesday. We will provide more updates on its effect on Atlantic Canada as we get more information.
