Rainy Weekend Ahead for Atlantic Canada

An area of low pressure will push across Atlantic Canada beginning on Friday.

Rain will spread across the Maritimes on Friday into Saturday. The heaviest rain will fall over southern and eastern New Brunswick, in that area 50 to 80 millimetres is possible.

Lesser amounts are likely over northern areas of the region.

The rain moves into Newfoundland on Saturday.
