Snow Squalls expected tonight in Southern Ontario


With the low pressure system northeast of the great lakes pushing colder air into the region, we are expecting snow squall formations and windchill overnight.

Windsor and London will have a mix of rain and flurries in the afternoon, temperature high is 5 and the low is -2 with a windchill of -9 at night. Winds are west 30km/h gusting to 50.

Toronto and Barrie are cloudy with rain showers in the afternoon and some flurries later on, the temperature high is 7 and the low is 1, winds are moving west 20km/h gusting to 50, flurries are expected to continue in the evening accumulating 5-10 cm of snow.

Kingston and Ottawa have a few showers this afternoon and flurries at night with a temperature high of 9, a low of 1 and a windchill of -6 overnight, winds are west 30km/h gusting to 50.

Huntsville is cloudy with flurries accumulating 10-15 cm of snow and a risk of snow squalls in the afternoon with a temperature high of 8 and a low of 2. Winds are 30km/h gusting to 50.
