Severe thunderstorms rolled across Southern Ontario on Saturday evening causing power outages, reports of wall clouds, and more.


Here is a collection of reports received by Environment and Climate Change Canada...


There were numerous reports and photos of shelf clouds from the leading edge of the thunderstorm line.


There were quite a few power outages across Southwestern Ontario as the thunderstorms moved by.


On Walpole Island a tree was knocked down and hydro lines were down.


Very strong winds were reported in a number of locations.

Wind gusts:

  1. Windsor Airport 94 km/h

  2. Port Weller 91 km/h

  3. Waterloo Airport 83 km/h
