Storm to Impact Portions of the Prairies

The mundane weather pattern over Canada will be disrupted this week as a weather system is expected to bring snow, mixed precipitation, and strong wind to the eastern Prairies.

An area of low pressure will intensify over the western Prairies on Tuesday night and will then track across eastern sections of the Prairies on Wednesday and Thursday.

At this stage, there is little consensus on which areas will receive what type of precipitation.

The areas most likely to be impacted by this system will be central and eastern Saskatchewan and southern Manitoba.
