Storm Update for Newfoundland #nlwx


Blizzard conditions are continuing across the Avalon Peninsula, Burin, Peninsula, and parts of Central Newfoundland.


There are thousands without power and most customers will remain without power all night and roads remain impassable.


As of 9:30 pm St. John's International Airport recorded 62 cm of snow.


Overnight, snow and blowing snow is expected to continue.

  • Marystown 2 to 4 cm

  • Gander 5 to 10 cm
