Stormy conditions continue across parts of eastern Newfoundland
The winter storm that started on Monday night is continuing for some areas today which has resulted in several closures once again today.
For the areas that remain under a winter storm warning, only about 5 cm of snow is expected today and winds are expected to gust between 80 and 110 km/h this morning.
Snow will taper off late this morning or early this afternoon. The winds will also begin to diminish later this morning.
Travel is not recommended this morning on most highways on the Avalon Peninsula or for the Clarenville and Bonavista Peninsula areas to Terra Nova.
