Strong Earthquake in Chile
A 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck 48.2 km south-southwest of San Pedro de Atacama, Chile on Wednesday morning.
It was at a depth of 96 km. The earthquake was felt in Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina.
The earthquake knocked out power and sparked a fire at a concrete factory. There were also fires at several nearby mining sites.
There were no reports of any injuries.
Chile is no stranger to earthquakes, it is located along the Pacific Ring of Fire.
