Strong Earthquake in Southern Atlantic Ocean

There has been a 6.1 magnitude earthquake 2323.2 km south-southwest of Edinburgh of the Seven Seas, Saint Helena.

The earthquake was recorded at 4:08 pm local time on Saturday at a depth of 10 kilometers.

There was no tsunami threat.

Since the earthquake shook offshore away from any land, there was no damage reported.
