Temperature Records Broken in Manitoba #MBwx


There was some warm weather across parts of Manitoba on Tuesday. A few areas set new daily maximum temperature records. Most of the records were broken by a couple of degrees.


The warm weather didn't last, however. On Wednesday temperatures got up to around zero. It will be cooler today with a chance of flurries. After today, temperatures warm up once again with highs near 7 degrees expected this weekend under sunny skies.

Altona/Gretna Area (Gretna Auto)

Old record of 10.6 set in 1977

Dominion City/Emerson Area (Emerson Auto)

New record of 13.3

Old record of 9.3 set in 2015

Records in Dominion City have been kept since 1942 and in Emerson

since 1893


Sprague Area (Sprague)

New record of 14.7
