The Next Potential Weather-Maker For Newfoundland #nlwx

There could be another storm on the way to Newfoundland Sunday night into Monday.

The system appears to be taking a track just off the east coast of the Island.

Should the storm stay on that projected track, it will bring snow to the Avalon Peninsula, the Burin Peninsula, and parts of eastern areas.

Central and western Newfoundland will not see any precipitation from this storm.

The mixed precipitation and rain may remain offshore.

If there is any westward shift in the track, more areas of Newfoundland may see snow and the Avalon Peninsula may end up seeing some mixed precipitation.

Snowfall Forecast

  • St. John's 20 to 30 cm

  • Carbonear 15 to 20 cm

  • Clarenville 2 to 5 cm

  • Bonavista 2 to 5 cm

  • Marystown 2 to 5 cm

Any change in the track will alter snowfall amounts.
