Tropical Storm Barbara Expected to Weaken


Tropical Storm Barbara is expected to weaken on Saturday.


Barbara is expected to weaken into a remnant low.


At its peak, Barbara had maximum 1-minute sustained winds of 250 km/h, just below Category 5 status.


The storm formed on June 30 west of Mexico.


Currently, there are no hazards to land areas.


There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect.
