Tsunami warning discontinued after earthquake in Indonesia

A 7.3 magnitude earthquake struck Indonesia this morning.
The earthquake was centred 112.4 km north of Maumere, Indonesia at a depth of 18 km.
Shortly after the earthquake, a tsunami warning was issued. No waves have been detected and the alert has since been discontinued.
So far, there have been no reports of injuries. Some homes have been damaged but only minor damage has been reported.
The area is located within the Ring of Fire where many volcanic eruptions and earthquakes occur.
