UK Deploys Military After Ferocious Storm

The military has been deployed to assist in Calderdale and West Yorkshire in the United Kingdom to assist in recovery from a major storm that has lashed the region.

Storm Dennis has brought winds well in excess of 100 km/h and over 120 mm of rainfall in some areas.

The storm has delivered significant flooding to some areas.

Over 200 flights have been cancelled.

The storm comes on the heels of Storm Ciara that hit the area last weekend that flooded 800 homes and left half a million people without power.
