Update on the Storm Hitting Atlantic Canada

An area of low pressure is bringing some unsettled weather to Nova Scotia. It will reach Newfoundland this afternoon.

Snow is impacting Nova Scotia and will continue to do so today. At this time it looks like the mixed precipitation will remain offshore.

The snow will arrive in Newfoundland mid-Wednesday afternoon on the south coast and will make it to all areas Wednesday overnight.

Snow will mix with, and in some cases change to rain over the Burin Peninsula up through Bonavista North and the Avalon Peninsula.

The west coast will remain as snow.

As the low pulls away, strong winds will continue.
